Alasdair Brown

Senior Physiotherapist

Alasdair has been a physiotherapist at SportsLink since joining the team in mid-2018. After graduating from a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2013, Alasdair started working in private practice and has gained considerable experience during that time. He has worked closely with shoulder surgeons and was also the physiotherapist for trauma surgeon, Dr Anthony Keeley. As a result of this experience, Alasdair has expertise in post-operative rehabilitation and management. He has developed a clinical interest in the knee, ankle and rehabilitation from tendon injuries.

Alasdair is currently the physiotherapist for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Harold Matt’s Rugby League team. When he was younger, Alasdair participated heavily in Cricket, Athletics and Hockey, a sport which he continues to play now. He also played AFL for a few years but broken bones and a need for full use of both arms cut his career short. His own sporting background, coupled with his clinical experience provide him with an excellent understanding of the requirements of athletes and the desire to compete that drives them.

As with all our physiotherapists, Alasdair continually engages in ongoing professional development to further his skills and knowledge. He has a strong focus on hands-on treatment, exercise-based rehabilitation and is also certified in Dry Needling.
